Brian Mergenthaler 8" Blue Cat in a Window DF3552

Brian Mergenthaler creates whimsical pieces, trying to entrap the personality of the raw materials as well as energy from people he has known, past and present. 

This piece began with the wood housing of a pendulum clock. The cat is carved wood on a background of recycled metal pieces. Brian has painted the front of the piece in a mosiac pattern. There is a glass window.. Piece measures 8.5" tall, 7" wide and 1.75" deep. Place on a shelf or hand with hanging wire attached.
