Featherwood

I enjoy the entire process of woodworking. From the earthy fragrance of raw lumber and the visual beauty of grain and figure to the warm sensuous feel of finely sanded or finished wood, it’s a many-faceted experience I always appreciate.

What began as a fun diversion 30 years ago making a few small wood boxes and jewelry items quickly became an obsession; my love for wood and woodcrafting continues to this day and I can still lose myself occasionally in a project. I enjoy the entire process of creating this unique jewelry which gives me time and flexibility to devote to my family and still create multilayered bowls and vessels by commission. I’m a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and work out of my basement shop. - Buzz Coren
