Eric Legge

Self-taught artist, Eric Legge, was born in Illinois but raised in Georgia where he still resides.  Quiet and spiritual in nature, Eric Legge is passionate about his art.   He is inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the North Georgia Mountains where his studio and home are located. 

Certainly not afraid of color, his painting are bright and bold with subjects ranging from pots of flowers, to birds and people. Mountain scenes often contain a church and sometimes an occasional donkey or two.  Whatever strikes his fancy has the potential to be translated into a new take on what could otherwise be considered mundane. 

If you find yourself in Dillard, GA look him up. He is most welcoming. His studio is filled with any number of paintings as well as wood carvings created by his father whose work is well recognized. There’s an instant calm as you walk through the door and you will find yourself transfixed by the art. Legge’s art is gaining recognition and is included in many private collections.
