With so many jewelry forms available today, it is a constant challenge to produce designs that are new and innovative. It is my goal to continue using the many diverse resources available to create exciting, fresh designs. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia in Jewelry and Metalworking in 1988. I returned to Baltimore, Maryland and apprenticed for a custom design fine jewelry shop where I refined my skills in various metalsmithing and stone setting techniques. Since then, I have spent time at Peterâs Valley, Haystack, and Penland School of Crafts working with many renowned metalsmiths as a studio assistant. I currently operate my own studio in Owings Mills and manufacture two distinct lines of jewelry available in galleries and craft stores around the country.
