Su Griggs Allen

Su Griggs was born in Brigantine, NJ. Growing up, she traveled extensively through Europe, visiting the great museums and drinking in the various cultures of the world. She studied Fine Art at Rowan State, NJ, Moore College of Art, Phila., and Ringling College of Art, Sarasota, FL.
 
Her studies led her to a career in visual display and design.  In 1993, she established Paradox Gallery, a co-operative that grew to include local and nationally known artists. Her work has won numerous awards and can be found in private and corporate collections across the country. Her time is currently spent between her studio/gallery in North Carolina and the other in Sarasota, Florida.
