Craig Carey Bird on Perch Black & Blue WP2041 SOLD

Every item is made one at a time by Craig Carey. There are no pre-bought patterns or items, save the hardware and mirror, and all ideas are his own. Craig starts with raw materials, such as willow from the edges of ponds for mirrors and signs, and lumber from anywhere that he can find it, and carves or cuts everything by hand. Then all items are sanded, primed and painted or stained. The stained items then get multiple coats of lacquer for a deep shine.

Hand carved wood bird, painted, with hand cut tin wings and wire legs. Perches on willow with a green stained leaf. Perched birds average 8-8.5" tall on a 3.75" x 3.75" base. Birds are about 7" from tip of beak to end of tail. 4.5" wing span. You receive the bird pictured.
