William Cunningham, aka Bill Montana, was born in 1968 in Dayton Ohio where he currently resides and operates a small studio and gallery. He is the former director of the Orphanage Gallery the world’s only zero profit gallery which was created to help support artists and operated without commission or submission fees. This gallery, created in 2017 and ran until 2023, operated without cash.
Additionally, William made the world’s longest bottle cap chain. It’s 70 feet long and in the Collection of Ripley Believe it or Not in Orlando, Florida.
This piece was on exhibit at the Kentucky Folk Art Museum in Moorehead as part of an exhibit arranged by the ledgendary Minnie Atkins. It measures 13.5" tall. The bowl is 4.75" across the top. Base is 6" x6".
