Charlie Frye is a self-trained folk artist using primarily acrylics and preferring found objects to traditional canvases. His work is comprised of wild strokes and bold colors on barnwood, crates, pots and pans to name just a few.

Here, he's painted a very nervous looking bear portrait on wood. The framed piece measures 13" wide and 13" long. It's wired for hanging.
