Danette Sperry began to concentrate on 2d relief folk art paintings in 2015.  These are Mixed Media 2D relief paintings on wood using a special techntique she developed. Each piece incorporates incredible attention to detail bringing out the personality of her subjects. The entire process of building the wooden structure, applying & carving the textural elements and painting the images can take up to several months, but for Danette, it’s a labor of love. 

She loves painting angels & animals (especially birds). But almost any idea in her head may turn up on a painting. She loves to make art and make folks smile. Most of all, her art gives her happiness in creating and that's what she loves to do! 

This piece is 16" tall, 24 wide and 1" deep. We will not pack and ship this piece ourselves. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY
