Jim Kopp Angel with a Strange Pet 19x23 WP1821 SOLD

During a visit to Atlanta in 1999, Jim Kopp saw an exhibit at the High Museum featuring well known Georgia artist Howard Finster and was inspired. He taught himself, experimenting with found objects, wood and paint. The result is a decidedly primitive, intuitive style as opposed to realism or details. 

This is a mixed media piece on reclaimed wood. "Angel with a Strange Pet" and measures 19" wide and 23" long. Painted with acrylics.
