I turn pottery on a treadle wheel as well as an electric wheel. My pottery is made from clay I source myself. I also use a mix of ashes, clay, and glass to make my signature glazes. I fire my pots in wood fired kilns when I can but also fire in a gas fired kiln I have in my shop. My pottery inspiration is rooted in the southeastern tradition of folk pottery. My process begins with an idea, turning the vessel, and then applying whatever face or decoration to the pot I feel fits the overall shape and my mood at the time. 

This piece is 5" tall, 6.25" from nose to tail, and 3.25" across the back legs. The color is best represented by the outside photos
