Dwayne Crocker In and Out Snake Jug DP2697 on loan to museum

Dwayne Crocker strives to follow the generations old traditions characteristic of Southern folk art pottery starting from the ground up. He uses Georgia red clay, mixes glazes, and strains ashes for his glazes. He uses time honored methods, concepts, tools (a straw and a nail) and designs, just as the old timers before him.

Measures almost 8" tall with a 4" base and about 7.5" across the widest area. 

This piece is currently on loan to Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia until May 2024
