Greg's work is inspired by the decorated stoneware and face jugs of 19th-century Edgefield, SC pottery. He works with traditional elements of this style, including ash glazes and slip decoration. Greg also draws ideas from the tradition of pottery throughout the Southeast, incorporating and reinterpreting old themes to create a mixed body of work.
Here's a chance to let your mug project your feelings about getting up early for work. Since each mug is individually created, please don't think you can get a "matching" pair. Can't happen. I won't even ask Greg.
Mugs average 4" tall with 3.5" - 3.75" top opening. I have not measured each individual mug so if the exact size is important, please contact us and we'll whip out the tape measure.
