Today, John Milton Meaders’ great grandson Clete Meaders, of Cleveland, GA, is dedicated to preserving the traditional process of making folk pottery, from digging his own clay to firing his face jugs in a wood kiln. This "Dixie Leprecon" stands 19" tall and measures 10" across his elbows. It is #1. There is a drying crack on the front chest which does not detract from the piece. It is as made and as fired.
