Joe Reinhardt 11" Face Jug DP2525 SOLD

Joe Reinhardt was born in Catawba Valley and a member of the Reinhardt family with well known potters dating back to the mid 1800s. He worked as a brick mason for over 30 years until a heart attack ended that career. Thus, he began his journey as a potter. 

This face jug is 11" tall with a 3.25 bottom base. It is inscribed: "Been thinking about running away but I am broke," The color is best represented in the outdoor photos.
