Goldstein-Rice Black Bird Candlestick DP715

Amy Goldstein-Rice has created each small windowsill sculpture in clay, with additions of wire and small clay charms. Each sculpture is created one at a time and rarely are any two goddess alike - just as in real life.

Amy's unique talent for creating animal figures becomes most evident in her larger pieces. Created with white earthenware, wheel thrown and hand built. It was assembled and fired at Cone 04 in an electric kiln.

This black bird candlestick is about 11.5" tall. The base is 4.25 in diameter. It measures about 10" from beak to tail. The candle holder top is 3.5" diameter. Flowers adorn the back.
