Miller Stork Club Turtle DF303

For over 14 years I have been sculpting copper turtles, fish, birds and various other creatures. My whimsical ideas come from a love of nature and a twist of humor found in people- watching. Every piece is individually designed and hand-formed from copper. I use a variety of methods to forge and fabricate each piece. The exterior is hand painted and patinated to enhance the natural colors of the heated copper. I am a full-time artist and a part-time librarian. My husband, artist-blacksmith, Joseph Miller, and I share our home with our eight year old Jack Russell, Dixie. I hope my creative endeavors give you as much pleasure as I get from sculpting them.

Care: All work has a clear acrylic finish. To clean pieces use a mild soap and water. When displaying out-of-doors the pieces will gradually acquire a rich dark patina.
