Dana Shavin is originally from Atlanta and now resides in Chattanooga,
TN. After graduate school (MS clinical psychology, 1986, Augusta State
University) she moved to the north Georgia mountains. For eleven years
she worked in a variety of mental health capacities, and in 1997, I
left her career to pursue art and writing full time. In addition to her
art career, Dana is also a writer and a life coach.
Dana's work is the result of a multi-step process where images are manipulated and photographed and finally printed on aluminum.
