Charlie Frye 8x10 Face WP1301 SOLD

Charlie Frye is a self-trained folk artist using primarily acrylics and preferring found objects to traditional canvases. His work is comprised of wild strokes and bold colors on barnwood, crates, pots and pans to name just a few.

Here, he's painted a very confident looking man on wood. He's framed in a found frame. The painting is 7.75" wide x 10" long. The framed piece measures 9.5" wide and 12" long. It's wired for hanging. In addition to being signed, it reads, "To Randy" on the back. Randy is a fellow artist, Randy Tobias.
