Stress the Seams

Road Used License Plates are the basis for the work of Stress the Seams, and Atlanta based creative husband and wife team. They hand prepare every plate; shaping and cutting it into its new forms. The metal findings (split rings, rivets, screws, and nails) are all sourced from ALCOA metals, meaning that they are made in the USA from the metal forming point. Each piece is one of a kind and highly nostalgic, with much care taken to utilize as much of the original plate as possible.
