Stress Seams Recycled License Plate Star -NC RD1035

Road Used License Plates are the basis for the work of Stress the Seams, an Atlanta based husband and wife creative team. They hand prepare every plate; shaping and cutting it into its new forms. Each piece is one of a kind and highly nostalgic, with much care taken to utilize as much of the original plate as possible.

License plates are worked into their unique star shapes through folding, cutting, and riveting. Outdoor signage chain is then applied to the reverse so that the stars come ready for display both indoors and out. 5 Point Stars average 23'' across and 4'' deep.
